A wonderful modernist pin by Otto Robert Bade signed with the Orb sterling trademark. 

The pin has a soft shiny finish and great dimension, parts of the pin are dome and others are concave giving the light different surfaces to reflect off of.

Measures 2 1/8" by 1.75" marked Orb sterling on the back.

Very well made and in excellent condition, no damage or wear, safety catch works.

Otto R. Bade (Orb) worked for Frank Rebajes for more than 20 years and was the plant foreman in the Rebajes' heyday in the 50's. Mr. Bade actually made most of the pieces that Rebajes designed. He was an important designer of the modernist jewelry period.
