Black Opal 10.30ct oval silver pendant necklace 14k white gold 18" Franco chain 

One natural black opal oval cabochon measuring approx. 20.05 x 13.32 x 6.53 mm, weighing approx. 10.30 carat. The opal is translucent with black background and blue to violet play of color in a harlequin pattern across approx. 60% to 70% of the stone. The opal is crazed across the entire surface. The stone is set in a cast silver-platinum alloy pendant with a combination of high polish and satin finish. The pendant measures approx. 1 inch across and approx. 5/8 inch tall, stamped with a hallmark and DURAN. The pendant is attached by two jump rings to a 14 karat white gold Franco chain measuring approx. 18 inches long and approx. 1.2mm wide with a lobster clasp stamped 14KT ITALY. The finished pendant-necklace weighs 8.76 grams.
